This in-depth, intimate film offers a close look into the life and work of Toole, a true troubled genius who led a more eventful and complex life than many readers of his work realize. The film explores this creative-life-cut-short through interviews with scholars and personal friends of Toole’s and features a custom score using classic New Orleans music.
