Happy Birthday Dear Louisiana, Happy Birthday to you! To celebrate our state’s birthday there are lots of events going on. All these events are taking place on April 30.
Carver Branch: Tweens and Teens are invited to a birthday party. Louisiana crafts, bingo, music and dancing. 4pm.
Jones Creek Regional Branch: Stop by and play the Louisiana Lagniappe trivia game. Answer the questions correctly and you’ll be entered to win the super lagniappe prize.
Main Library: Visit the Becoming American: the Path to Statehood exhibition.
Pride-Chaneyville Branch: Family activities and refreshments. 3pm.
Zachary Branch: Live Cajun music and light refreshments, 6pm.
