Louisiana Earth Day is celebrated on April 22nd from Noon to 8:30pm. It’s a great day out for the whole family, downtown along North Boulevard from the Old State Capitol to the Old Governor’s Mansion. There will be music performances from some great Louisiana musicians, a poetry slam, fashion show, flash mob and a play. See the complete printable schedule of all the stages.
There are lots of educational activities for children and adults to join in with. As well as all the good food, music and atmosphere you’ll also find environmental tips, information and innovations that can help us all live a bit greener!
