3D printing is now available at EBRPL! What is 3D printing exactly?
- A process that creates solid objects from various materials based on a digital design
- Rather than cutting, objects are created by printing layers of material combined to produce a physical object.
- All you need is a 3D model or .STL file created in 3D design software or from websites such as Thingiverse.
Visit our 3D Printing page to learn more. You can choose from a variety of preselected models, print something from Thingiverse, or submit a design yourself.
The cost of printing is 10 cents per gram, paid in cash when you pick up your print at the Main Library. See more pricing details on our Making @ The Library Guide with its special 3D Printing page for details.
