The GED (General Educational Development) exam has officially been replaced in Louisiana by the HiSET High School Equivalency Exam. This month, the Library is offering several HiSET-related programs, including informational sessions and study dates.
The first one is a Social Studies Preparation session this afternoon at 3:30 at the Eden Park Branch Library. Call (225) 231-3250 to register.
Here are the future dates and sessions at Eden Park:
Reading Preparation: Monday, May 12, 3:30 p.m.
Mathematics Preparation: Monday, May 19, 3:30 p.m.
Science Preparation: Tuesday, May 27, 3:30 p.m.
There are also two informational sessions about the HiSET scheduled at the Carver Branch Library on:
Wednesday, May 7, at 10 a.m. and
Wednesday, May 21, at 10 a.m.
