World Cup 2014

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL. Yep, it’s that time again: the 2014 FIFA World Cup is here! The host nation is Brazil and it’s the first time since 1950 that the Cup has taken place in the futebol-crazed nation (Brazil is the only country that has won the Cup five times).

To find out more about the World Cup, which is the most popular sporting event in the world (it’s true!), check out FIFA’s official website. The Cup runs from June 12 to July 13.

The host nation Brazil kicks off the Cup on Thursday, June 12, at 3 p.m. CST with a match versus Croatia.
