There is a great new careers site put together by the Louisiana State Library. Louisiana Jobs and Career Center brings together resources for the recently unemployed, job seekers, those seeking a career change and for small businesses.
You’ll find resume, cover letter and application form guides, interview tips, career assessments and job posting websites. No more trawling the web for sites when you have them all in one place!
We can’t recommend Louisiana Jobs and Career Center highly enough. It is also linked to our careers and training databases such as Career Cruising and Learning Express, so you’ll need your library card to access these tools from outside the library.
