The best place to be on Independence Day is downtown Baton Rouge. Enjoy the celebrations with good food, a wonderful selection of bands, and a breathtaking fireworks display. The annual Star-Spangled Celebration takes place on the Mississippi riverfront by the USS Kidd. Don’t miss the F-15 fighter flyby, vintage aircraft mock attack, and hot air balloons lighting up the night sky.
