Attention Louisiana veterans! The Library of Congress wants to hear your story of service. The East Baton Rouge Parish Library is hosting a Veterans History Project Event in collaboration with Congressman Graves and AARP Louisiana to conduct oral histories of U.S. veterans, which will be recorded, preserved and made accessible through the Library of Congress.
The Veterans History Project preserves the personal stories of actual U.S. veterans for future generations. Any U.S. veteran is eligible to participate, regardless of whether they deployed or saw combat.
The event will be held at the Main Library at Goodwood from 10 AM until 2 PM Thursday, August 1. Register for this event online.
Do they have to live in La? Or can they be from La? And be living elsewhere ?
This is an in-person event, so they will need to be able to get to the Main Library on Goodwood in Baton Rouge to be interviewed.
