NASA: Lessons of a Widowmaker is a great interactive site that shows off some of the more experimental aircraft that NASA have used. The site is really well presented with the homepage being a desk covered with interactive items. Click on a plane to see pictures, specifications and history. You’ll see a variety of aircraft from the cool X-15 to the bizarre looking Airbus Super Guppy.
Click on the radio and you can either listen to music or to the learning channel. Click on the iPhone and you’ll see videos. There is plenty of content to explore including two fun games to play, called ‘Air War’ and ‘Aero Match.’
