The River Center Branch Library houses a specialized Grants Resource Center that serves as a Funding Information Network partner of the Foundation Center. Called Cooperating Collections until October 2013, Funding Information Network (FIN) partners serve nonprofits by funding information about grantmakers, offering training and programs related to fundraising and nonprofit management, and actively reaching out to underserved organizations within their community to connect them to these key resources. Network partners also provide resources for artists and students. The Foundation Center program manager Katie Artzner recently remarked that the new name of Funding Information Network partners “now accurately captures how our partner organizations function as a network, and it also reflects more concretely the types of resources and services they provide.”
