Louisiana Book Festival 2015

Every year, people from all over the state of Louisiana get together to show how much they love books, the art of writing, and our wonderful local authors. This year is the twelfth celebration of the Louisiana Book Festival, and you are definitely not going to want to miss a thing.

Want to get ready for this year’s “One Book, One Festival” discussion of Harper Lee’s Go Set a Watchman? We just might have a copy available. You can take a look at our Go Set a Watchman infoguide for more information on the book and its famously reclusive author.

If you’ve already read it, why not pick up a book by one of the authors you’re going to meet at the festival?

And while you’re passing the time until Halloween finally arrives, come to a library program! We’ve got all kinds of great stuff happening at all of our branches for ghosts and ghouls of all ages. Check out our monthly newsletter or our online events calendar to find something that’s just scary enough, or check out a scary book to give yourself a fright.
