Celebrate early childhood literacy with us! Jumpstart Read for the Record encourages people across the U.S. to read the same book on the same day to increase awareness about the importance of early literacy. It is the world’s largest shared reading experience to celebrate children’s early language and social-emotional development. Come by the children’s room of any library’s location on Thursday, October 26 to read With Lots of Love by Jenny Torres Sanchez, and take home a free copy of the book (while supplies last)! Some Library locations will also have a related craft or activity for the children. Call your local Library’s children’s room to find out specific times the readings will be offered. All children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult.
