‘Queer’ History Film Series is an exploration into LGBTIQA+ history, influence, politics, and gaiety throughout the ages. In partnership with Baton Rouge Pride, this series will feature a different film on the last Sunday of each month, continuing this month with Vito (2011, Not Rated) at the Main Library at Goodwood on Sunday, October 29 at 6 p.m. “Directed by award-winner Jeffery Swartz, Vito paints a galvanizing portrait of this outspoken activist in the LGBT community’s struggle for equal rights, using period footage and film clips to capture a vibrant era of gay culture.”-First Run Features
