Christmas Is Coming

Dulcimer Guy

Mike Anderson, also known as the Dulcimer Guy, will be at the Main Library at Goodwood at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 8, to dazzle audiences with amazing tunes. Listen only or join in by singing along to popular holiday music on the dulcimer!

Later, at 6:30 the same day, meet a strangely familiar face in the personage of Hugo Kringle, Kris Kringle’s brother, as he regales the audience with tales of growing up Santa Claus’s sibling and plays holiday music. A dulcimer may possibly be involved.

Santa’s in on it.

A Celebration of the Trees @ the Creek

The Jones Creek Regional Christmas tree display, made of trees decorated by area businesses, schools, clubs, churches, homeowners associations, and other community organizations, will open on December 1st at 9:00 AM. (If you’ve got a last-minute contribution, call (225) 756-1160 to get yours in!)

SO MANY CRAFTS

And as always, this time of year brings out the artist in all of us. There are more holiday-themed crafting events for Baton Rougians of all ages than you can shake a stick at. (But if you should be inclined to try, please tie some ribbon on the end, so it’s festive.)
